Trust.Legal Officer

About the role

Mercator® by Citco is a pioneer in global entity portfolio management, supporting multinational corporations across more than 170 jurisdictions. As a Trust.Legal Officer you will work independently and support senior lawyers in delivering corporate subsidiary governance services to clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior lawyers and act independently in providing corporate subsidiary governance services.
• Prepare and review legal documents throughout the company lifecycle, from incorporation to dissolution, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and deadlines.
• Perform or monitor statutory filings with local authorities.
• Coordinate with business partners, clients and colleagues globally to gather necessary information and documentation.
• Ensure client, local, international and industry‑specific requirements are met and communicate legal updates.
• Maintain data integrity and produce accurate reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Law (or final‑year law student).
• At least 1 year of experience in corporate services for international clients or 2 years in corporate law.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented team player with strong communication skills.
