Valuation Assistant

About the role

Realty Valuers Ltd is a leading provider of real estate valuation and advisory services in Mauritius, employing Chartered Valuation Surveyors who are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). As a Valuation Assistant you will support the team in delivering accurate valuation reports for a variety of property types and purposes, including sales, acquisitions, financial reporting, secured lending, tax disputes and litigation. This role offers the opportunity to develop practical valuation skills while working closely with experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in comprehensive report writing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
• Conduct site visits, including measurement of buildings and collection of relevant data.
• Attend to clients’ queries promptly and professionally.
• Perform other duties related to valuation tasks whenever necessary.

Required profile

• Fluent in both written and spoken English and French.
• Strong reading and writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driving licence.
• Flexible working hours.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
