Account Officer

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, detail‑oriented and proactive Account Officer to join our finance team. The role supports the day‑to‑day operations of the accounting department and assists the Finance Director on various administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Check, process and issue invoices and payments using QuickBooks or Odoo.
• Prepare weekly supplier ageing reports.
• Prepare weekly payment batches.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Process receipts for payments received from clients.
• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records.
• Assist the Finance Director and Accountant with administrative documents as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum HSC with Accounting; a degree in accounting, finance or a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA) is an advantage.
• 1‑2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Self‑organised, detail‑oriented and strong time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Positive mindset with excellent communication skills.
