Accountant – Asset Manager Services

About the role

As an Accountant within Ocorian's Asset Manager Services, you will maintain accurate accounting records and prepare financial statements for a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounting records, financial statements and management accounts for semi‑complex to complex client entities.
• Review bookkeeping entries, bank, investment and other balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Review VAT returns and other deliverables, meeting high‑quality standards and deadlines.
• Build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing responsive accounting support.
• Work closely with auditors to facilitate timely audit completion.
• Mentor junior accountants, reviewing their work and offering guidance.

Required profile

• ACCA or ACA fully qualified, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience preparing client accounts.
• Experience in finance, accounting or auditing, preferably with exposure to private equity, real estate or corporate environments.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of IFRS.
• Familiarity with UK GAAP and other accounting frameworks.
• Experience with Navision and/or Efront.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook.
