Accountant – Fund Services

About the role

As a trusted member of the Fund Services team, you will support directors, managers and administrators in delivering high‑quality accounting services to a portfolio of clients. You will maintain accurate records, prepare complex financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, reconciliations and accounting records for multiple client structures.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing responsive support and maintaining excellent service throughout engagements.
• Prepare and review VAT returns, bank and investment reconciliations and other accounting schedules.
• Coach and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and providing feedback.
• Liaise with auditors and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of audits.
• Maintain working papers and client records in line with Ocorian procedures and assist with budget planning.

Required profile

• ACCA/ACA fully qualified or equivalent degree/experience in finance, accounting or audit.
• 4‑6 years of experience preparing client accounts within financial services, accounting or audit.
• Exposure to real‑estate and/or private‑equity structures; real‑estate accounting experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP.

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with EFront and Value Financials (desirable).
• Proficiency in preparing VAT returns and bank/investment reconciliations.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
