Accountant

About the role

Our client is looking for a qualified Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting in line with applicable standards and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledgers, supporting documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing and producers' payments, handling timely processing and reconciliation.
• Prepare and submit monthly management accounts, financial reports and year‑end financial statements within set deadlines.
• Ensure statutory and tax filings (VAT, TDS, etc.) are submitted on time and assist with tax compliance matters.
• Prepare audit documentation, liaise with internal and external auditors, and implement audit recommendations to strengthen internal controls.

Required profile

• ACCA (completed Level 2) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and statutory requirements.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Familiarity with ERP environments.
