Accounting Manager – Client Services

About the role

The Accounting Manager will act as the primary contact for complex client matters, ensuring high‑quality, accurate and timely delivery of accounting and tax services. You will coach and train team members while maintaining strict compliance with group policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, address complaints and resolve complex issues.
• Review and approve tax computations, financial statements, tax returns and regulatory submissions.
• Implement new methodologies, standards, regulations and software enhancements to improve service and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and the Associate Client Services Director on task allocation and resource planning.
• Oversee team performance, staff development, planning activities and information‑security requirements in line with IQ‑EQ Mauritius' ISMS framework.

Required profile

• Proven experience serving as a key point of contact for senior‑level client relationships.
• Ability to provide training, coaching and support to junior team members.
• Strong understanding of client business structures, strategic objectives and regulatory environments.
• Commitment to delivering accurate, timely work while adhering to group and local compliance standards.
