About the role
The Accounts Officer will support BIA Group’s finance function by collecting, preparing, and reconciling financial data in line with company policies and accounting standards. This role contributes to the timely production of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements while handling day‑to‑day administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate journal entries in the accounting system for management accounts and financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Reconcile supplier and customer statements.
- Ensure compliance with reporting standards and prepare payment instructions.
- Support cash‑flow forecasting and audit processes.
- Maintain proper filing records and perform administrative duties such as PO creation.
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Management, or at least ACCA Level 1.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
