Aircraft Technician – Maintenance

About the role

The Aircraft Technician supports the safety and airworthiness of Emirates and third‑party aircraft by performing routine maintenance, servicing, and approved structural repairs. Working under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, the role is based at the airport and involves hands‑on work on airframes, engines, and components.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine aircraft, engine and component servicing, fluid replenishment, refuelling and systems charging in line with manufacturer procedures.
• Perform approved structural repairs and component replacements using the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC) and Component Maintenance Manual (CMM).
• Assist Licensed Aircraft Engineers with walk‑around checks, troubleshooting, defect rectification and modification tasks.
• Promote a safety culture by maintaining clean work areas, preventing FOD and complying with airport safety regulations and driving permit requirements.
• Communicate defects and status updates promptly to engineers and ensure accurate shift handovers.

Required profile

• Trained in aircraft maintenance trade disciplines and able to work as part of a team under a Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
• Familiar with airport safety regulations, manoeuvring area requirements and holds a valid airport driving permit.
• Committed to punctual attendance, grooming standards and continuous development through supervised training plans.
