Analyst I – Merchant Risk Analytics

About the role

We are looking for a highly technical Analyst I to join our Merchant Risk Analytics team in Ebene, Mauritius. You will work within the Data Analytics and Tooling squad, building robust data pipelines, dashboards and custom applications that empower global Risk Operations to make fast, accurate decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines, data models and controls using GCP, BigQuery, dbt and Cloud Composer.
• Ensure a clean, reliable single source of truth for the Risk organization.
• Build intuitive custom user interfaces to streamline case‑management workflows.
• Design, build and maintain Looker dashboards that reduce manual ad‑hoc requests.
• Create the data infrastructure needed for anomaly‑detection and credit‑risk models.
• Integrate new AI‑based tools into risk decisioning processes.
• Act as the trusted data partner for Risk Operations, handling ad‑hoc requests and translating complex data into clear business insights.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in data analytics or data engineering.
• Data‑driven problem‑solver with strong analytical mindset.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
