Assistant Accountant – Fund Services

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our Fund Services team. You will support a portfolio of clients by processing accounting records, preparing basic financial statements and assisting with tax filings. Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post final bookkeeping entries for financial statements and management accounts.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, loan and bank transactions for assigned clients.
• Create and amend supplier and loan cards.
• Perform bank, investment and other reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing client VAT returns and basic tax returns.
• Provide bookkeeping and accounting support to the Client Accounting team and contribute to ad‑hoc projects.
• Prepare simple annual financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
• Deliver accounting services to clients across multiple jurisdictions within the Ocorian Group.

Required profile

• Completed ACCA Level 2 (or equivalent accounting qualification).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet prescribed deadlines.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
