Assistant Director Finance

About the role

The Assistant Director of Finance supports the Director of Finance in overseeing all financial operations of One&Only Le Saint Géran resort. The role ensures accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance while safeguarding the property’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and monitor daily revenue, expenses and cash flow.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process and analyse financial performance to recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and income audit functions, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Maintain internal controls, coordinate internal and external audits, and manage cash and payroll oversight.
• Monitor departmental expenses, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and analyse revenue trends across hotel outlets.
• Supervise and mentor the finance team, provide training, and act as Director of Finance in their absence.
• Partner with department heads to achieve financial targets and contribute to strategic planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 5‑7 years of finance/accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role within hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis and internal controls.

Required skills

• Experience with hotel financial systems such as SAP, SUN Systems or Oracle.
