Assistant Front Office Manager

About the role

The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office team at Constance Belle Mare Plage, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences. This role combines leadership, administrative oversight, and direct interaction with guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain front office areas in a clean and well‑maintained condition.
• Supervise all aspects of front office operations and enforce established standards.
• Produce administrative and statistical reports for the Rooms Division Manager.
• Handle guest complaints promptly, ensuring resolution within 24 hours.
• Oversee staff scheduling, training, appraisal and corrective actions.
• Conduct weekly spot checks on cashiering and float balances.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to optimise room availability and meet guest requirements.
• Promote hotel outlets and services to guests and support sales activities.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a luxury resort.
• At least one year of experience in a similar front office supervisory role.
• Secondary education with additional training or certificates in hospitality.
• Fluency in English and another language; a third language is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer‑relations abilities.

• Knowledge of electronic hotel reservation systems.
• Understanding of payroll and inventory management processes.
• Ability to multitask and manage operational procedures.
