Assistant Manager – Fund Accounting

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Fund Accounting will manage the preparation, review and delivery of financial reports for a portfolio of funds and related entities. You will ensure client accounting requirements are met accurately, on time and in line with accounting standards and regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for multiple funds.
• Calculate and review Net Asset Values (NAVs) according to fund‑specific requirements.
• Apply UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP and support implementation of industry best practices.
• Develop and enhance accounting procedures for new funds and entities.
• Coordinate audits and support statutory, regulatory and client reporting obligations.
• Build relationships with clients, auditors and advisers, and present financial information at board meetings.

Required profile

• ACCA or ACA qualified, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in financial services, fund accounting or a related environment.
• Knowledge of private equity, real estate or corporate fund structures is advantageous.
• Strong organisational, prioritisation and communication skills.

Required skills

• Technical accounting expertise with UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with financial systems and technology.
