Assistant Manager

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support the Unit Manager in delivering high‑quality operational services across the Global Business Sector. This role involves overseeing unit activities, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Unit Manager with all operational aspects of unit deliverables and ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Oversee, review, and monitor work performed by unit members, including timesheet management and capacity planning.
• Provide regular operational updates to senior management and identify training needs.
• Conduct customer due‑diligence (CDD) in line with AML requirements and maintain updated records.
• Sign off on bank account openings, review board packs, and ensure proper shareholder approvals.
• Handle incorporation documents, licensing, restructuring, mergers, re‑domiciliation, and winding‑up processes.
• Maintain client relationships, meet service level expectations, and conduct performance appraisals for team members.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of experience in the Global Business Sector or a related audit environment.
• University degree from a recognised institution.
• Undertaking ACCA or ACA professional studies.
• Strong client‑service mindset with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively under pressure.
• Organisational and interpersonal skills with a goal‑oriented, team‑player attitude.
