Associate Accountant – RTR Duty Cash (6‑month contract)

About the role

Join DHL's RTR Duty Cash team as an Associate Accountant on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. You will be responsible for investigating, assigning and reconciling all monies deposited into DHL bank accounts, ensuring accurate cash flow reporting and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and accurately assign all deposits to the appropriate accounts.
• Reconcile bank statements on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with customers and country AR departments to identify and confirm payments.
• Proactively follow up on payment reconciliations and manage the full payment cycle.
• Contact customers lacking remittance information and resolve unapplied cash.
• Maintain both customer goodwill and internal stakeholder satisfaction.

Required profile

• ACCA Level 1 or a Higher School Certificate with Accounting.
• 2‑3 years of basic accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable or debtors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work extra hours when needed.
