Associate Application Owner – Open Banking

About the role

The Associate Application Owner will support the management, operation, and performance of Absa's open banking applications in Mauritius. Working closely with the senior Application Owner and cross‑functional teams, you will help ensure that the solutions are stable, secure, and aligned with business goals while gaining exposure to the full application lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor application performance, incidents, and system alerts; support resolution and escalation of technical issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements, propose improvements, and implement enhancements.
• Provide second‑level support for internal users and coordinate with vendors to resolve problems.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of open banking solutions in line with service‑level agreements.
• Assist in project documentation, user stories, test plans, and track progress under guidance of the Application Owner.
• Manage relationships with third‑party vendors to meet SLAs and deliver fixes or enhancements.
