Associate Executive

About the role

Apex Financial Services (Mauritius) Ltd, part of the global fund administration and middle office provider Apex Group, is hiring an Associate Executive. The post is permanent and sits under the guidance of seniors and the overall supervision of an Operation Unit Head.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain proper records in line with internal and legal requirements, ensuring client deliverables are fully accurate.
• Maintain bank accounts, including opening new ones, initiating transfers and liaising with the bank.
• Complete day-to-day tasks on time and monitor them; effect statutory filings with the FSC, ROC and other bodies and keep statutory registers.
• Convene meetings and follow up certification, notarisation, apostille and consularisation of documents.
• Follow up executed documents and agreements, keeping them indexed on file.
• Carry out customer due diligence (CDD) in line with the AML Code and keep an updated CDD list for all companies.
• Perform ad hoc work assigned by seniors.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in the global business sector or an audit firm is an advantage.
• Degree from a recognised institution; ACCA or ACA professional studies.
• Client service mindset, good written and spoken communication, and ability to multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Organised, goal-oriented team player who adapts quickly to different environments.
