Associate Manager

About the role

The Associate Manager will lead a small team to deliver high‑quality management and statutory reporting for fund administration clients. You will ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal service level agreements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activities of team members to meet client commitments, SLAs, and internal policies.
• Oversee preparation and review of bookkeeping, management accounts, and interim/annual statutory financial statements.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, and regulators to coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory surveys.
• Prepare and present management reports, KPIs, and dashboards.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Support implementation of new processes and drive automation and process improvements.
• Maintain internal databases and client records in line with policy.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in drafting and reviewing management accounts and financial statements under IFRS.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of IFRS developments and regulatory reporting regimes.
• Proven ability to motivate, coach, and mentor a small team.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
