Associate Manager

About the role

The Associate Manager will support the Unit Manager in delivering high‑quality services across the Global Business Sector. This position combines operational oversight, client relationship management, and risk mitigation to ensure seamless service delivery for Apex Group’s worldwide clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Unit Manager with all operational aspects of unit deliverables and ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Oversee, review, and monitor work performed by unit members, including timesheet management and capacity planning.
• Provide regular operational updates to senior management and identify training needs.
• Conduct customer due‑diligence (CDD) in line with AML code and maintain up‑to‑date records.
• Attend and document client meetings, both internal and external.
• Sign off on bank account openings and verify that banking transactions align with company scope.
• Review board packs, shareholder resolutions, and certificates of standing for accuracy.
• Manage incorporation, restructuring, merger, re‑domiciliation, and winding‑up processes with relevant authorities.
• Maintain and grow client relationships, ensuring timely and satisfactory service delivery.
• Lead team meetings, conduct performance appraisals, and coach team members toward continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of experience in the Global Business Sector or a reputable audit firm.
• University degree from a recognised institution.
• Undertaking ACCA or ACA professional studies.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal abilities.
• Goal‑oriented, quick learner, and able to work under pressure.
