Associate Product Manager – Core Platform Services

About the role

Dayforce is seeking an Associate Product Manager to help shape and deliver foundational platform capabilities that power the Dayforce ecosystem. In this role you will work closely with product, engineering, architecture and design teams to define, build and continuously improve shared services, messaging, event‑driven architectures and developer experience across all Dayforce products.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers and Engineering teams to define, deliver, and continuously improve platform capabilities.
• Own and manage a focused area of the product portfolio, driving roadmap execution and product outcomes.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams to refine requirements, prioritize work, and ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
• Gather and analyze feedback from customers, internal stakeholders, and product teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support roadmap planning through research, data analysis, and prioritization activities.
• Monitor product usage, adoption, and operational metrics to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
• Participate in customer discovery sessions, feedback discussions, and research activities to better understand user needs.
• Stay informed on industry trends, platform technologies, and emerging best practices.
• Explore opportunities to leverage AI‑powered capabilities and AI‑assisted development tools to improve products and team productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Software Development, Product Operations, or a related discipline.
