Audit Manager

About the role

DGM PARTNERS is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead financial audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients in Mauritius. Based on-site in Port Louis, you will ensure audits are performed in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements while delivering high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and finalize financial audits, including fieldwork, reporting and follow‑up.
• Review financial statements and assess internal controls to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Supervise, coach and mentor audit team members throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and client communications to ensure smooth delivery.
• Support business development by contributing to proposals, presentations and client relationship building.

Required profile

• Recognised professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with at least one year of experience as an audit manager.
• Strong technical expertise in auditing standards and regulations.
• Proven ability to lead audit engagements from planning to reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and time‑management skills.
• Clear communication skills for presenting complex findings to clients and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Caseware (audit software) – a plus.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
