Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Backend Engineer Annotator to support AI development by reviewing, annotating, validating, and improving backend engineering datasets, code samples, and system design outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples and engineering workflows.
• Label datasets involving REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend processes.
• Validate scalability, performance, and reliability standards.
• Provide structured engineering reasoning and evaluation feedback.
• Assess server‑side code performance and logic accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical field.
• Prior experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of backend security principles and secure coding standards.

Required skills

• REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Authentication systems (OAuth, JWT, session management).
• Microservices architecture, distributed systems, event‑driven design.
• Database technologies: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB.
• Containerization with Docker.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
