Business Development & Growth Associate

About the role

Boolell Advisory Mauritius is seeking a junior Business Development & Growth Associate to support business development activities and create new lead‑generation channels. The role is ideal for a proactive, commercially‑minded individual who enjoys testing ideas, researching markets and turning opportunities into actionable leads.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain targeted prospect databases using LinkedIn, business directories, online research and other sources.
• Research prospects, identify decision‑makers and monitor market activity for potential opportunities.
• Conduct targeted LinkedIn, email and telephone outreach, testing messages and channels to generate qualified leads.
• Identify low‑cost growth techniques and tools to improve outreach and lead generation.
• Keep the leads tracker updated and report on responses, meetings and conversions.

Required profile

• Qualification in Marketing, Business Management or Commerce preferred.
• Practical experience in prospect research, outbound outreach, lead generation or growth marketing.
• Confidence using LinkedIn, online research tools, spreadsheets and CRM systems.
• Strong written English with ability to personalise outreach.
• Initiative, curiosity and consistent follow‑through.
• Exposure to South African, Kenyan or Nigerian markets is an advantage.
