Business & Economics Teacher

About the role

The Business & Economics Teacher will deliver engaging, inquiry‑based lessons to secondary students at Northfields International School, supporting both the Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma programmes. You will join a vibrant, multicultural community dedicated to academic excellence and holistic development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Business and Economics curriculum for Years 7‑13, aligning with Cambridge and IB standards.
• Prepare students for IGCSE examinations and IB assessments, including coursework and examinations.
• Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities.
• Support learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL) through differentiated instruction.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.) and teaching registration.
• Experience teaching Business, Economics, or related subjects at secondary level.
• Familiarity with Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma curricula.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international environment.
