CGI Artist (CGI Specialist)

About the role

Publicis Production EMEA Hub, the regional backbone of Publicis Production, is looking for a CGI Artist. The hub brings together over 1,200 professionals across the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, the UK and Mauritius, delivering content for global brands through post and primary production, versioning, commerce, web development, CRM and language services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain organised project files, render tracking and version control.
• Create high-quality 3D models, environments and assets using Cinema 4D and/or Blender.
• Build textures, materials and shaders for photorealistic, stylised or brand-specific visuals.
• Set up lighting and cameras to achieve the required visual quality and realism.
• Animate 3D assets, cameras and scenes.
• Create simulations, including particles, fluids, cloth and dynamics.
• Optimise 3D assets and scenes for rendering performance and production efficiency.
• Render final outputs while meeting the project's visual and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with Motion Designers and production teams to integrate CGI assets into final deliverables.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating high-quality 3D work.
• Advanced knowledge of Cinema 4D and/or Blender.
• Advanced knowledge of 3D modelling, UV mapping, texturing, materials, shaders, lighting, rendering and animation.
• Strong understanding of lighting, realism, rendering and visual integration.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical, scene and rendering issues.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
• Understanding of CG compositing and post-production workflows.
• Familiarity with camera tracking, match-moving and integrating CG into live-action footage.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
