Childcare Practitioner

About the role

Northfields International School is seeking a qualified and passionate Childcare Practitioner to join its Pre‑Nursery team. You will work with children aged approximately 18 months to 3 years, contributing to a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment within a dynamic international school community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate learning experiences that promote curiosity, development, and independence.
• Create and maintain a safe, clean, organised, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Plan and implement structured activities and thematic learning based on children’s needs and interests.
• Support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through a balance of guided learning and play.
• Provide essential caregiving routines to ensure toddlers’ well‑being and comfort.

Required profile

• Qualified early childhood educator or equivalent experience working with toddlers.
• Passion for fostering holistic development in young children.
• Ability to create a safe and stimulating learning environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills within an international school setting.
