About the role

The Commis 2 will support the resort’s kitchen team in delivering high‑quality meals for guests at Four Seasons Mauritius. Working in a luxury resort environment, the role involves preparing ingredients, maintaining hygiene standards and assisting line cooks during service.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all tasks assigned by supervisors, adhering to hotel standards and grooming policies.
• Prepare raw products, mise‑en‑place, bases, stocks, dressings and other ingredients.
• Assist and train with line cooks, ensuring smooth service during peak periods.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and uphold food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Participate in briefings, meetings and scheduled training sessions, including Safe Step certification.
• Support colleagues during busy times and act as a role model for teamwork.

• Adheres to the hotel’s code of conduct, grooming and hygiene standards.
• Willing to work hands‑on, walk the floor and actively participate in briefings.
