About the role
The Compliance Officer will lead the company’s compliance function, ensuring all activities align with local laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role works closely with senior management, auditors, and operational teams to embed a strong compliance culture.
Key responsibilities
- Review and update the Compliance Policy and Procedures manual in line with the latest laws and circulars.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance and legal risks related to new products, services, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support audit processes.
- Conduct training sessions to raise awareness on compliance, anti‑money laundering, and anti‑bribery topics.
- Review legal documents and contracts with third parties (including KYC and account opening) to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor trading activities, detect breaches, and oversee corrective actions.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management and the Board of Directors on legal and compliance matters.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, preferably within the financial markets industry.
- Strong knowledge of compliance best practices and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
