Corporate Manager

About the role

The Corporate Manager will lead the delivery of accounting for Apex Group's corporate structures, ensuring accuracy, compliance with the Constitution, accounting standards and regulatory requirements. You will act as a key escalation point for technical accounting and tax queries and drive continuous improvement of operating processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and lead accounting delivery for corporate entities, guaranteeing compliance with standards and regulations.
• Maintain full adherence to the prevailing control environment and risk, cost and control agenda.
• Translate corporate strategy into operational plans and provide oversight for day‑to‑day business execution.
• Develop and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the escalation point for specific issues.
• Analyse performance and productivity, reporting findings to senior leadership.
• Drive technology and business‑process initiatives to reduce operational friction and enable exception‑based management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate accounting, finance or related functions within a global organisation.
• Strong leadership and people‑development capabilities, with a track record of coaching teams.
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks, and to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience translating strategic objectives into actionable operational plans.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of risk, control and compliance frameworks.
