Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

Medine is looking for a proactive Cyber Security Analyst to strengthen its security posture. You will work within a growing Cyber Security department, monitoring alerts, investigating incidents and ensuring the integrity of our digital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and assess security alerts across Microsoft 365, cloud gateways and corporate systems.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, documenting findings and remediation steps.
• Manage endpoint security software and conduct quarterly access reviews.
• Analyse security logs using a SIEM tool, filter noise and identify anomalies.
• Support the implementation of preventative controls in line with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or a dedicated IT security role.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with a SIEM platform (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm).
• Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF 2.0).
• Experience managing endpoint security solutions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and cloud gateway technologies.
