Data Engineer

About the role

RAPP is seeking a hands‑on Data Engineer to support client projects across cloud infrastructure, automation, and solution architecture. The role combines strategic consulting with technical implementation, focusing on building and maintaining data warehouse components and scalable data pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate business needs and develop algorithms and prototypes.
• Design, build, and support data‑warehouse components including ETL processes, databases, reports and reporting environments.
• Conduct complex data analysis, organize raw data and produce analytical reports.
• Identify data acquisition opportunities and develop analytical tools and programs.
• Collaborate with data scientists, architects and business stakeholders on multiple projects.
• Consolidate, optimize and monitor data‑warehouse infrastructure, including performance tuning and root‑cause analysis.
• Design, automate, build and launch scalable, reliable data pipelines into production.
• Document systems and ensure ongoing maintenance of architecture.

• Programming in Java and Python.
