Data Privacy Consultant (m/f/d)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Data Privacy Consultant to join our Global Data Protection Controls & Assurance team. In this role you will help ensure compliance with data protection regulations across our worldwide businesses and support the implementation of privacy‑by‑design practices.

Key responsibilities

• Advise business units on personal data processing compliance and monitor adherence to local data‑protection provisions.
• Coordinate and steer data‑protection activities, harmonising procedures, tools and governance practices.
• Conduct data‑protection reviews, identify gaps, and guide remediation plans.
• Perform in‑depth vendor screenings to evaluate third‑party privacy practices.
• Support on‑site and off‑site control activities in line with the control plan.
• Identify and analyse data‑protection risks and contribute to risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Provide input to Data Protection Risk Assessments and update standards and functional rules.
• Assist in preparing, validating and presenting activity reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Data Privacy, Compliance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data privacy, internal audit or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in English and French (spoken and written).
• Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIA or CISA are a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of GDPR and other global data‑protection regulations.
• Experience with data‑protection tools, frameworks and reporting mechanisms.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
