Data Research Associate – Fixed-Term (1 year)

About the role

EcoVadis is looking for a motivated Data Research Associate to join its Data Management team in Ebene, Mauritius. In this 1‑year fixed‑term position you will ensure the accuracy and completeness of supplier information that powers the company’s sustainability rating platform.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internet research to verify company legal entities, business activities and operational scopes.
• Enter validated supplier data into the EcoVadis database using country registers and online sources.
• Respond to client queries via email and liaise with internal and external stakeholders for additional information.
• Maintain compliance with internal methodologies, rules and guidelines throughout the qualification process.
• Support the continuous improvement of the qualification workflow and collaborate with Support and Commercial teams.

Required profile

• Good HSC results; diploma or degree holders are considered.
• Previous experience in data or internet research is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• High attention to detail, quality‑oriented mindset and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Experience using AI tools for research or data processing.
