DDC Technician – Water Systems

About the role

Amentum is looking for a DDC Technician to support a US Navy water‑systems program on Diego Garcia. The role involves inspecting, surveying, and reviewing data to maintain the Certificate to Operate (CTO) for the island’s water infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspections, sanitary surveys, and data reviews required for CTO compliance as defined in CNIC M‑5090.1A.
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFI) and gather accurate data for stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
• Update the Requirements Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) with corrective actions and improvements.
• Assist in identifying, planning, and implementing corrective actions to resolve deficiencies.
• Prepare and maintain documentation to support regulatory compliance and CTO review processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on water‑system requirements.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in inspection, assessment, maintenance, or compliance of water‑system operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with CTO review processes and CNIC M‑5090.1A guidelines.
• Experience conducting sanitary surveys and handling RFIs.
• Detail‑oriented with strong documentation skills.
