Depositary Assistant Manager

About the role

The Depositary Assistant Manager supports the Depositary Manager/Head of Depositary in delivering high‑quality depositary services for regulated investment funds in the EU. The role involves monitoring fund cash flows, overseeing safekeeping, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and client reporting deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor fund cash flows, verify subscriptions, redemptions and settlement activities.
• Perform safekeeping oversight, ownership verification and record‑keeping for non‑custodied assets.
• Conduct periodic controls, reconciliations and escalation of exceptions.
• Liaise with administrators, custodians, investment managers, auditors and other service providers.
• Prepare management information, oversight reports, committee papers and client deliverables.
• Support audit requests, maintain procedures and supervise junior team members.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Finance or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of experience in depositary, custody oversight, fund administration or related fund services.
• Strong understanding of regulatory framework, depositary duties and fund operations.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
