Desktop Support – IT Infrastructure

About the role

The Desktop Support role provides operational assistance to the IT Infrastructure team at CIM Finance. You will help maintain servers, desktop environments and network infrastructure while ensuring smooth end‑of‑day and end‑of‑month processes. The position also requires delivering high‑quality customer service when diagnosing and resolving IT issues.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily end‑of‑day system procedures.
• Assist with end‑of‑month system procedures.
• Provide first‑level troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
• Perform remote and on‑site technical support interventions.
• Assist with movement, setup and installation of IT equipment.
• Install and configure software according to company standards.
• Carry out basic network cabling tasks as needed.
• Execute routine system and data backups to ensure data integrity.
• Support basic network administration activities.
• Handle IT tickets, update resolutions and adhere to SLA commitments.

Required profile

• 6‑12 months of similar experience.
• Knowledge of PC hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and practices.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Valid driver’s licence.
