Destination Consultant

About the role

Emotions Destination Management is seeking a dedicated Destination Consultant to join its team in Quatre Bornes. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on designing, coordinating and delivering high‑end travel experiences for both individual and group clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop customized itineraries and proposals for FIT and MICE travelers.
• Prepare quotations, manage bookings, and oversee reservations for transfers, excursions and accommodations.
• Liaise with international partners, suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor on‑ground operations, resolve any logistical issues, and maintain accurate internal documentation.
• Collect guest feedback, contribute ideas for new products and support continuous improvement of the guest experience.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to deliver personalized, high‑end experiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French; additional languages such as Russian are a plus.
• Solid organizational abilities, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple itineraries simultaneously.
• In‑depth knowledge of Mauritius’ attractions, hotels and cultural highlights.
• Calm, solution‑focused approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using reservation systems.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms.
