Electrical and Electronics Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Electrical and Electronics Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in Mauritius. The position is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on the design, review, and implementation of electrical and electronic systems for building services, power distribution, and infrastructure projects, including renewable energy integration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce technical drawings, specifications, and calculations for electrical and electronic systems.
• Select appropriate equipment and materials in line with project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting during installation and maintenance phases.
• Ensure compliance with international and local electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Prepare technical reports and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of power systems, control systems, and building services design.
• Experience with electrical design tools, CAD software, and simulation or calculation programs.
• Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and their integration.
• Understanding of relevant standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to work on‑site.
