Executive – Corporate Secretarial

About the role

We are seeking an Executive to join our Secretarial team, handling medium‑to‑high complexity corporate secretarial processes for a diverse portfolio of entities. You will work closely with senior managers to ensure governance activities are accurate, timely, and compliant with Mauritian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and organise board and shareholder meetings, draft resolutions and minutes, and manage director/auditor changes.
• Oversee governance tasks such as constitution amendments, investment approvals, distributions, insurance renewals, MLRO/DMLRO/CO appointments, and AML/KYC reviews.
• Support regulatory deliverables including TRC applications, payment instructions, statutory filings, Annual Administrators Reports, and AML/CFT assessments.
• Coach and review the work of junior team members, assist during regulator inspections, and escalate client or service issues promptly.
• Maintain high‑quality record‑keeping, update systems, scan and archive documents, and protect information assets in line with internal ISMS policies.

Required profile

• Experience handling medium to high complexity corporate secretarial tasks.
• Familiarity with Mauritian regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Ability to lead governance activities and coach junior staff.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
