Face-to-Face Fundraiser – Social Work Graduate

About the role

Greenpeace Mauritius is seeking enthusiastic social work graduates to join our team as face‑to‑face fundraisers. You will engage directly with the public in markets, shopping centres and other busy locations, sharing the urgency of environmental issues and encouraging monthly support for our campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Approach and converse with visitors in high‑traffic public areas across Mauritius.
• Explain Greenpeace’s environmental missions and the impact of monthly donations.
• Convert interested individuals into regular supporters.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and donations collected.
• Collaborate with the fundraising team to meet weekly and monthly targets.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in social work or a strong people‑oriented background.
• Confident communicator comfortable speaking in English and/or French; Creole is a plus.
• Goal‑driven with a genuine passion for environmental and social causes.
• Ability to work outdoors, on your feet, and adapt to varying locations.
