Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Group Finance team in Mauritius. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, support audits, strengthen controls, and deliver high‑quality financial information that drives business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support external audits by preparing working papers, gathering documentation, performing transaction sampling and testing internal controls.
• Contribute to month‑end and year‑end close processes, including routine account and balance‑sheet reconciliations and management of intercompany accounts in a multi‑currency environment.
• Prepare consolidation journals and assist in drafting Group consolidated financial statements and notes in line with IFRS.
• Produce financial and management reports, support intermediate holding‑company balance‑sheet preparation, and assist with Group Finance projects.

Required profile

• Experience working in a fast‑paced finance team.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems, preferably SUN Systems.
• Solid technical accounting skills with a good understanding of IFRS (knowledge desirable).
• Ambitious accountant who enjoys consolidation, controls, audits and collaborating with global stakeholders.
