Financial Controller

About the role

FTM Mauritius Ltd is seeking a hands‑on Financial Controller to join its team in Port Louis on a full‑time, on‑site basis. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports.
• Analyse financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounting processes and month‑end close activities.
• Evaluate existing financial policies and recommend strategic enhancements.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial planning with business objectives.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in financial statements preparation and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical abilities focused on finance‑related decision‑making.
• Solid knowledge of finance and accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory frameworks in financial management.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are advantageous.
• Experience in the healthcare or FMCG sectors is a plus.
