Front Office Supervisor

About the role

The Front Office Supervisor oversees daily front desk operations, ensuring efficient service, accurate billing, and high guest satisfaction while supporting the Front Office Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily Front Office activities and team members.
• Manage guest check‑in/check‑out procedures and ensure compliance with hotel standards.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, complaints and special arrangements promptly.
• Verify billing instructions, payment methods, room charges and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Monitor cash, credit‑card and other payment transactions according to hotel procedures.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, Security and other departments for seamless service.
• Monitor room status, communicate availability and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with VIP, group and special guest arrivals.
• Conduct regular checks of Front Office procedures and ensure policy compliance.
• Prepare and review departmental reports and communicate information to management.
• Monitor guest feedback and take action to improve satisfaction.

Required profile

• Attend all required training and ensure proper grooming and uniform standards for the team.
• Monitor punctual attendance, duty rosters and provide coaching, feedback and on‑the‑job support.
• Lead by example, maintain a professional image and promote teamwork.
• Report staffing, performance or disciplinary issues to management.
• Participate in hotel social, CSR initiatives and support hotel events when needed.
