Full-Stack Java Developer

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Full‑Stack Java Developer to join its Custom Software Engineering Platform in Mauritius. You will work across the entire technology stack, using Java‑based frameworks and collaborating with agile teams to deliver robust, maintainable solutions. Generative AI tools will be available to assist with coding, debugging, and documentation, while you remain responsible for technical quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, MVC, Data, Security).
• Implement and evolve RESTful APIs to enable system integration.
• Integrate applications with databases using Hibernate/JPA and design efficient schemas.
• Write unit tests with JUnit and collaborate with QA to ensure high code quality.
• Participate in code reviews, provide guidance to junior team members, and follow secure coding practices.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize Java applications.
• Document technical designs, specifications, and system architecture.

Required profile
