Full-Time Hotel Nurse

About the role

Constance Le Chaland is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join its hospitality team on the south‑eastern coast of Mauritius. The role combines clinical care with health‑safety coordination, ensuring the wellbeing of both staff and guests in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Verify expatriate pre‑employment medical certificates and report any discrepancies to the HR Manager.
• Provide first‑aid treatment to employees and guests and conduct first‑aid training sessions.
• Maintain fully stocked first‑aid boxes in every department.
• Liaise with the Ministry of Health to attest expatriate medical certificates.
• Generate periodic reports on sick leave, first‑aid cases, attestation status and food‑handler compliance.
• Identify and report health‑ and safety‑related hazards.
• Accompany staff to hospitals when required and support new‑employee orientation.
• Offer medical counselling and advice to team members.
• Plan and procure medical supplies, ensuring equipment availability at all times.
• Act as First‑Aid Representative during sport and welfare activities organized by HR.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Nursing or BSc (Hons) Nursing.
• Registered Nurse with the Nursing Council of Mauritius.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Secondary education plus any relevant additional training or certificates.
