Fund Accountant – Hedge Fund NAV & Reporting

About the role

The Fund Accountant will support Apex Group's hedge fund clients by preparing NAV reporting packs and financial statements. You will work closely with auditors and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of fund accounting services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for hedge funds on a client‑specified frequency.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual account/financial statements as required.
• Liaise with auditors to facilitate timely audit completion.
• Assist with Transfer Agency transactions when needed.
• Maintain overall client relationships, handle inquiries and attend client meetings.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of accounting experience (fund industry experience advantageous).
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or holding an equivalent accounting qualification.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities to meet tight deadlines.
• Hard‑working, willing to put in extra hours when required.
• Good interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue.
