Fund Accountant

About the role

Apex Group is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its Mauritius office. You will be responsible for preparing NAV packs, financial statements and supporting audit processes for hedge fund clients. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement within a fast‑growing global fund administration firm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare NAV reporting packs for hedge funds on a client‑specified frequency.
• Compile monthly, quarterly and annual account/financial statements.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely audit completion.
• Assist with transfer agency transactions as required.
• Maintain overall client relationships, handle inquiries and attend meetings.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the fund industry.
• ACCA qualified, partially qualified, or holding an equivalent accounting qualification.
• Strong time‑management and organisational abilities to meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, hard‑working attitude with willingness to work extra hours when needed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with fund accounting software such as Investran, Efront, Paxus or Allvue.
