Fund Accountant – Mid Level

About the role

This is a mid‑level accounting position delivering comprehensive fund accounting services with minimal supervision. The role focuses on low to medium complexity funds, handling core accounting processes and standard communications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements, NAV reports and fund accounting deliverables in line with accounting standards.
• Maintain fund books through daily bookkeeping, periodic reporting and rigorous quality control.
• Process capital calls, distributions and investor notices while documenting routine transactions.
• Identify and report operational risks, conduct self‑reviews and support quality‑assurance initiatives.
• Contribute to process‑improvement projects and standard operating procedure documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or ACCA Level 2 / ACA qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in fund accounting or similar financial services environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver accurate, timely work.
• Strong organisational, multitasking and communication skills.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and fund accounting processes.
