Guest Service Supervisor

About the role

Constance Belle Mare Plage, a luxury resort in Mauritius, is looking for a Guest Service Supervisor to join its front-of-house team. The supervisor ensures exceptional guest experiences and maintains high standards of service, overseeing daily guest service operations and leading the guest service team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily guest service operations, including check-ins and check-outs, and ensure guest satisfaction
• Lead, motivate and train the guest service team
• Resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally
• Handle guest inquiries and requests, giving accurate information on hotel services and local attractions
• Collaborate with other departments so guest experiences are seamless across all touchpoints
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in guest-facing areas
• Help develop and implement guest service policies and procedures
• Prepare reports on guest feedback, occupancy rates and other metrics
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and take part in continuous improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Proven experience of at least 2-3 years in guest services or a related hospitality role
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort is highly desirable
• Track record of high guest satisfaction
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Required skills

• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage
• Knowledge of hotel management software and booking systems
• In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and luxury guest service standards
• Leadership, communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
